James Marriott

On Friday, May 7, 2027, Klub Progresja turns into Warsaw’s home for left-field pop as James Marriott arrives on his 2027 European headline run behind third album “Warning Signs,” due January 15, 2027 via AWAL. The Warsaw date is one of 42 shows across North America, the UK and Europe, a run that includes a landmark night at London’s OVO Wembley Arena. It follows a sold-out headline show at O2 Academy Brixton, so this is a rising artist caught at club-sized scale. Polish promotional material also notes that his previous Warsaw show sold out quickly.

Marriott, the Brighton YouTuber-turned-musician, calls his sound “anti-pop.” It is introverted and outsider-minded, but built on big hooks. Press materials point to the experimental pop of Magdalena Bay and Charli xcx, the dance instincts of Dua Lipa, and raw, gritty guitars. Expect songs from his 2023 album “Are We There Yet?”, which reached No. 17 on the UK chart, and from “Don’t Tell The Dog.” You should also hear fresh material from the new record, including recent single Burn Down The Disco. The listed start time is 8:00 PM, and no support act has been confirmed yet.

If you want to catch a fast-rising British voice before the rooms get much bigger, this is the show. Klub Progresja puts you close to the stage. That suits a performer whose songs are confessional and sing-along-ready at once. It’s made for fans of alt-pop, indie-pop and guitar-driven bedroom-to-stage success stories, anyone who loved the last Warsaw visit, and newcomers curious about the “Warning Signs” era. Mark May 7, 2027 in your calendar and be there early.
